GET EVEN daily skin moisturizer was born out of a personal journey—one that blends resilience, science, and a deep desire for confidence through healthy skin.

In December 1978, my family fled Iran just before the revolution. As Jewish Iranians, we faced increasing challenges, with our freedoms and rights being stripped away more than most. We settled in California, and I grew up in the San Fernando Valley, where my summers revolved around swimming and spending long days at the pool. My olive skin darkened in the sun without burning, and when we later moved to Santa Monica, just two blocks from the beach, my love for the sun grew. I spent hours soaking up rays, often reading by the water, blissfully unaware of how sunlight reflecting off the water could affect my skin.

I stayed in Los Angeles for college, earning my undergraduate degree at UCLA and later completing my PharmD at Western University of Health Sciences. Science and math were my passions—thanks, in part, to my father, who shared these interests. While many of my peers were out partying, I was more introverted, relying on a small circle of friends to pull me into the occasional social scene.

It wasn’t until my twenties that I began noticing uneven, blotchy skin and dark spots. At first, I brushed it off, but by the time I graduated from pharmacy school, the discoloration had become much more pronounced. Years of sun exposure, a lack of sunscreen, and hormones had taken their toll. I had no skincare routine to speak of—often leaving makeup on overnight—and my sensitive skin reacted harshly to the products I tried. Redness, flakiness, and irritation were constant companions, leaving me frustrated, self-conscious, and dependent on foundation to cover the imperfections.

As a pharmacist and self-proclaimed science enthusiast, I started researching the root causes of hyperpigmentation. My exploration led me to ingredients like tranexamic acid, which had been widely used in Asia for skin brightening. After experimenting with both oral and topical applications, I saw a dramatic improvement in my skin.

It was a journey of trial and error, but eventually, I developed a combination of products that worked wonders. They were powerful yet gentle—a rare find for someone with sensitive skin. Paired with sunscreen and a consistent skincare regimen, these products completely transformed my skin.
